Horror-ble Movies: New site!

Do you enjoy watching horror movies? So do I. My name is Jimmy and I am a horror-aholic. What, no communal greeting in unison? Very well. I've been a fan of horror ever since I snuck into the den at 9 years-old and watched "A Nightmare On Elm Street" on VHS. I'll never forget the thrill of feeling goosebumps rise on my skin, or the overwhelming sensation that I was completely terrified with no rational excuse. This site is dedicated to my continuous search for that feeling again, and I feel it is my responsibility to report my findings along the way. I hope you enjoy your stay. The Thing (1982) - This week's screenshot is from the brilliant film "The Thing" from horror mastermind John Carpenter. In this shot, we see the alien sprouting legs and eyes from a severed head that detached itself from its host, after which the head politely stands up and walks out of the room. This was one of the first horror films that made an impression on me when I was younger, particularly in part to this scene. I will never forget the first time I saw that head sprout legs and walk out of the room. This movie is a gem and a classic, not to be confused with that terrible prequel from 2011. They're not even in the same league.
