10/19/2014 "Insidious Chapter 3" Movie Poster Revealed

"The man who can't breathe - the man who lives in the vents - I heard him saying your name last night; I heard him in your room while you were gone. He's in there right now, standing in your room." These eerie words make up 90% of the new poster for Insidious Chapter 3, with the remainder containing only the title and a picture of an air vent. The plot is still unknown for the movie, but perhaps this disturbing poster can give some insight as to what we should expect to see. Perhaps this sequel revolves around a new spirit that is attempting to inhabit the body of one of the family members as they leave their body at night. On the other hand, "while you were gone" could literally mean "while you were out of the house," but I don't think that is the case. The phrasing itself sounds like that of a child: "the man who can't breathe, the man who lives in the vents," it almost sounds like something one child is saying to another, perhaps one of the young boy's siblings is hearing this man and then relaying the message to him.The last part of the message, saying "He's in there right now, standing in your room" could possibly mean one of the children is telling their brother about the man the next day, while they are in another room, or maybe now there is another sibling that can also leave their body, and that sibling is warning their brother while they are both in the "Nether."

Insidious Chapter 3 will be released on May 29, 2015.

Very little information has been released about the film, but we do know actress Lin Shaye will return as paranormal psychic Elise Rainier, eluding to the fact that we may see flashbacks or perhaps even ghosts of previous characters in the film. Tom Fitzpatrick will return as the brilliantly creepy "Bride in Black" from Insidious Chapter 2. Oddly enough, none of the last names of the characters in Insidious Chapter 3 have been released, so we do not know if the Lambert family from the previous two films is even involved in this story. However, none of the original cast, with the exception of the aforementioned Elise, her assistants and the Bride in Black, are listed in the credits. This information could signal the film to in fact be a prequel to the other two. Speaking of the credits, as I glanced through the cast, I couldn't help but notice an odd character, named "The Wheezing Demon." Given the information from the poster, we can only assume this is the "man who can't breathe that lives in the vents," and considering Michael Reid MacKay (the paraplegic mutant "Jason" from X-Men 2) is playing him, I think he will be considerably creepy.
